Salary: USD 87,188 - 114,434 / annual
Oscar Health is hiring a Process Improvement Associate to join the Network Operations team. Oscar is a technology-forward health insurance company founded in 2012, built on a full-stack platform with a focus on member experience.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end cross-functional process improvement initiatives and operational optimization projects. You'll work with business and technical stakeholders across the organization to design, implement, and optimize internal processes in support of organizational goals. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading end-to-end project management for cross-functional implementations, including plan creation, stakeholder engagement, relationship management, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery
• Evaluating departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics; developing and implementing mitigation strategies
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop implementation, communication, and change management strategies
• Mentoring team members and supporting their professional development
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
You will report to the Director, Network Ops Governance & Oversight.
Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent experience
• 3+ years in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting
• 2+ years with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar analytics platforms)
• 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience
• 2+ years designing and improving workflows with accompanying operating and technical procedures
• 2+ years with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints)
Bonus qualifications include a degree in Engineering or Business Administration, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in the Atlanta, Georgia area, with potential for future hybrid arrangements.
