Salary: USD 64,832 - 85,092 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate Manager for Credentialing Operations to lead a team responsible for accurate and timely provider credentialing and re-credentialing. This role oversees production, quality, service levels, and escalations while ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, contractual, and internal requirements. You will manage day-to-day credentialing operations including workload planning, queue management, service-level performance, quality assurance, and issue resolution. Key responsibilities include evaluating departmental performance through data analysis and metrics development, conducting root-cause analysis on systemic issues, and implementing mitigation strategies. You will maintain and communicate KPI reporting aligned with departmental objectives. The role requires direct people management, including hiring, performance management, development, and HR administrative tasks for your team. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to formulate proactive implementation strategies, communications plans, and change management initiatives. Required qualifications: 3+ years of direct people management experience, 2+ years in provider credentialing or related functions, 3+ years in healthcare operations supporting high-volume production teams, and 1+ year using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. Bonus qualifications include proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, JIRA, and/or SQL; knowledge of credentialing standards (NCQA, CMS, state, delegated-credentialing); experience with process improvement initiatives; Bachelor's degree; and prior healthcare or insurance experience. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.
