Salary: USD 140,000 - 190,000 / annual
Webflow is seeking an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to improve reliability and stability of its customer-facing production infrastructure, which serves millions of page views per hour for over 2 million users across 190 countries.
In this role, you will empower engineers across teams to take control of their services by maintaining monitoring tooling and collaborating on internal observability best practices. You'll enhance application reliability running in Kubernetes by optimizing resource allocation, streamlining upgrade processes, and ensuring scalability and fault tolerance. You'll occasionally dive into the main Webflow application (Node, Python, or Go) to debug and fix production behavior, and work cross-functionally with Customer Support, Partnerships, and Sales teams to enable customers using Webflow's services in production. You'll also participate in and continuously improve on-call and incident response processes.
You should have a background as an ops engineer with growing interest in code, or a software engineer with growing interest in systems and infrastructure. You'll need 2+ years of experience operating or debugging distributed systems in production, hands-on experience with Kubernetes workloads, and familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP). Experience with observability stacks (Datadog, OpenTelemetry), infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible), and the ability to read and modify application code to debug issues are essential. You should be comfortable with on-call rotations and incident management, and demonstrate curiosity about emerging technologies including AI.
This is a full-time, permanent, exempt position reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering. You'll be part of a fast-moving team that values craft and quality alongside speed.
