Salary: USD 145,600 - 270,400 / annual
DTX Pharma (a Novartis Company) seeks an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison for Dermatology to build and strengthen relationships with leading medical experts across the Mid-Atlantic region (WV, VA, MD, DC, DE, PA, portions of NJ and NY). This is a highly visible, field-based role requiring up to 80% travel, with the ideal candidate residing between Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
You will serve as a trusted advisor and connector, generating actionable insights that inform marketing, medical affairs, HCP education, and congress strategies. Key responsibilities include conducting compliant medical expert engagements; facilitating strategic discussions using approved resources; capturing and synthesizing insights for cross-functional stakeholders; supporting peer-to-peer education programs and speaker development; moderating educational programs and advisory boards; coordinating expert engagement activities for congresses and society meetings; and leveraging CRM platforms to enhance engagement planning and collaboration.
You will partner closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, Congress Strategy, and Field Leadership teams to execute aligned strategies and advance innovation in dermatology.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred); at least 5 years of experience in thought leader/medical expert engagement, field-based marketing, regional marketing, HCP education, medical science liaison roles, account management, medical communications, or related pharmaceutical/biotech roles; ability to travel up to 80%; proven ability to develop productive, compliant relationships with physicians, APPs, and healthcare professionals; strong understanding of field-based marketing, expert engagement, insight generation, peer-to-peer education, and congress planning; demonstrated ability to execute strategic plans, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in complex, matrixed environments; strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; ability to influence without authority and build productive partnerships; strong organizational and project management skills; experience with CRM and digital engagement tools; financial and budgetary acumen; demonstrated commitment to compliance and ethical decision-making.
Desirable: Dermatology therapeutic area experience; experience collaborating across Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, Congress Strategy, and Field Leadership on HCP education, peer-to-peer programs, congress execution, and speaker development.
