You will join the Financial Services Sales team as an Associate Account Executive, owning new business development across the EMEA territory. Your mission is to grow AlphaSense's presence among hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks, private equity firms, and other investment organizations by understanding how their research and decision-making teams work. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close. You'll build a consistent pipeline through targeted outreach and account research, partnering with Sales Development Representatives to identify opportunities. You'll conduct discovery conversations and product demonstrations that connect AlphaSense's AI-powered research capabilities to each prospect's workflow. Working closely with Product Specialists, you'll manage trials, engage users and decision makers, and translate product value into a compelling business case for purchase. You'll maintain visibility of your pipeline, forecast accurately, and work toward your sales targets while sharing market insights with colleagues across Sales and Product to improve how the company serves the investment industry. REQUIREMENTS: - At least two years of SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business acquisition targets - Demonstrated experience selling into investment firms (buy-side or sell-side); comfort speaking with analysts, associates, portfolio managers, and senior decision makers - Consultative sales approach: ability to ask strong discovery questions, uncover how prospects currently work, and connect their challenges to a clear business case - Confidence delivering product demonstrations, managing multiple trials, and using feedback to advance opportunities - Strong organizational and forecasting skills; ability to manage a territory and competing priorities while maintaining momentum through complex sales cycles - Openness to learning: willingness to seek feedback, develop product and industry knowledge, and communicate technical capabilities clearly
