FULLBEAUTY Brands is a premier online and catalog marketplace specializing in plus-size fashion and lifestyle products. The Assistant Merchant II role supports merchandising and product execution for assigned brands and categories, with a focus on drop ship and national brand operations.
You will report to a Merchant or Senior Merchant and partner cross-functionally across Planning, Drop Ship Operations, Logistics, and eCommerce teams. Key responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with drop ship suppliers and national brand vendors
• Coordinating end-to-end drop ship style setup, including item creation, assortment selection, pricing, imagery, copy, and product activation
• Managing the complete drop ship onboarding process to ensure accurate, timely product launches
• Performing quality assurance reviews for product photography, categorization, descriptions, pricing, and naming conventions
• Attending vendor meetings to support national brand assortment selection and product strategy
• Creating, tracking, and managing national brand purchase orders with timely follow-up
• Conducting competitive market analysis to identify emerging trends and assortment opportunities
• Analyzing sales performance metrics and KPIs to provide actionable recommendations for product and revenue optimization
• Utilizing historical sales data to identify opportunities for assortment optimization and business improvement
• Supporting additional merchandising, operational, and analytical projects as needed
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will work in a hybrid arrangement at the corporate office with business casual attire.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or product-related roles with strong focus on product development and business analysis
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting sales and KPI data to support product and business decisions
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with PLM, ERP, or other merchandising systems is a plus
• Passion for product with an eye for trend, fit, and customer preference
