Salary: USD 155,000 - 185,000 / annual
iCapital is seeking a Vice President to join the International Asset Manager Solutions team. This role focuses on growing and managing iCapital's relationships with General Partners and Asset Managers, with a primary emphasis on US-based fund managers expanding their capital raising activities globally.
Key responsibilities include leading business development and relationship management activities with asset managers; building and maintaining a robust pipeline of prospective clients; fostering strong relationships with existing clients through a solutions-oriented, client-first approach; and taking ownership of strategic projects that develop and refine iCapital's international offering.
The role requires creating educational materials about iCapital's solutions, gathering competitive intelligence and market feedback from the field, and collaborating across internal teams including Research and Fund Management, Product Development, Enterprise Integration, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, Technology, and Operations to ensure successful client outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings 8-10+ years of experience in private markets and private funds within asset or wealth management. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, expertise in fund structuring and fund platforms, and proven ability to pitch and win client business. Preferred experience includes exposure to Private Equity and other private markets asset classes, understanding of distribution models, and international work experience.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong presentation and communication abilities, strategic thinking about business opportunities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment. The role reports to both International and US Asset Manager Solutions team leads.
