Salary: USD 99,000 - 130,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an Asset Improvement Lead to manage facility enhancement and renovation projects across its real estate portfolio of offices and factories. The Facility Operations team is responsible for optimizing facility layouts, designs for R&D spaces, ensuring efficient workflows, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for asset improvement projects, driving clarity and execution across all phases from programming and design through pre-construction, closeout, and operations. You will coordinate small-scale construction projects with external contractors, consultants, vendors, and regulatory agencies, maintaining strong relationships to ensure alignment with business objectives. Key responsibilities include: **External Project Management:** Plan, coordinate, and oversee small-scale construction projects. Maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Collaborate closely with external partners to align construction activities with asset improvement objectives. **Stakeholder Management:** Serve as the primary point of contact for all asset improvement initiatives. Advise on all project phases and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to key internal stakeholders. Collaborate functionally with departments including Security, Network Engineering, Facilities Management, Marketing, Kitchen Operations, Manufacturing, EHS, and Legal. **Budget and Financial Oversight:** Develop and manage project budgets, create and maintain budget trackers, prepare financial reports for senior executives, and generate accurate cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle. **Project Setup:** Achieve early end-user alignment on scope and requirements to minimize change orders and scheduling delays. Workshop requirements with end users and provide cost-effective alternatives. **Design and Equipment Standards:** Create templates and processes to manage high volumes of small projects. Catalogue building and line-specific equipment, including infrastructure requirements such as structural support, power, ventilation, and temperature control. **Requirements:** - Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Management or Facilities Management - Extreme orderliness with document control - Excellent project management skills with proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget - Ability to think creatively and strategically about space utilization - Effective communication and interpersonal skills
