SoundCloud is seeking an Artist & Label Relations Manager to serve as the primary ambassador across the European music ecosystem (excluding UK), based in the Berlin office. This role bridges SoundCloud's platform with the broader music industry, focusing on building and nurturing relationships with artists, managers, labels, and distributors while shaping the company's electronic music strategy. Key responsibilities include acting as SoundCloud's primary point of contact for European music partners, educating them on platform best practices and providing day-to-day technical and operational support. You will collaborate with artists and labels to develop strategic content release plans that drive platform engagement, monthly active usage (MAU), and subscription growth. The role involves hosting artist visits and performances from the Berlin office and playing a pivotal role in developing and executing SoundCloud's electronic music strategy. You will work cross-functionally with music marketing, content operations, product, and data science/analytics teams to align artist and label initiatives with broader company objectives. Required experience includes a minimum of 1-2 years in artist/label relations, A&R, or partnership management within a record label, distributor, management company, or digital streaming platform (DSP). You should have broad interest across music genres with particular expertise in European electronic music. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator comfortable on camera, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment across multiple time zones. You should be results-driven, proactive, and resourceful, with a talent for identifying opportunities and driving them to completion. Fluency in English is required.
