Anduril Industries is seeking an Arsenal-1 Operations Lead to serve as the connective tissue between the company's hyperscale manufacturing facility in Ohio and headquarters in Costa Mesa, California. This generalist operator role reports directly to the Vice President of Arsenal-1 Production and works closely with senior leadership across the organization.
Arsenal-1, which began as an empty logistics warehouse in January 2025, now operates an active production line for Anduril's Fury autonomous air vehicle with multiple additional production launches underway. The facility is planned to expand to over four million additional square feet of industrial capacity in 2027 and beyond.
Key responsibilities include executing the VP's strategic priorities and managing special projects; serving as the primary point of contact for staff across both Ohio and California locations on Arsenal-1 matters; tackling strategic problems by providing structure to ambiguity and shepherding cross-functional stakeholder groups toward decisions; and operationalizing Ohio incentives through cross-functional collaboration with finance, business lines, talent acquisition, legal, government relations, and external professional services.
The role demands someone with 5+ years of experience in consulting, operations, finance, or product/program management. You must demonstrate expertise in stakeholder and executive engagement with significant C-suite visibility, balancing when to involve executives versus leading independent change. Strong emotional intelligence, people-centric problem-solving, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships across hardware engineering are essential. The ideal candidate is self-driven, proactively identifies and solves problems without waiting for direction, and combines tactical execution with strategic thinking to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges. You should be comfortable with a flexible work environment while maintaining responsiveness and commitment to company needs.
