As Area Manager II for Inbound Operations, you will oversee a warehouse team through receiving, put-away, and replenishment processes in a high-volume fulfillment facility. You'll lead warehouse associates and operations leads to meet daily goals, work closely with HR, Safety, and Customer Service teams, and drive operational excellence and process improvements.
Key responsibilities include: leading and developing warehouse teams; collaborating with support functions to drive results; addressing operational and personnel issues; implementing process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms; utilizing workload planning tools to meet fulfillment standards; investigating discrepancies and variances; and performing quality checks across multiple functions.
Required qualifications: 2–4 years' experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory systems in high-volume facilities; previous leadership experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience; strong organizational, time management, and communication skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; proficiency with material handling equipment (forklifts); ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures, heights, and noise levels; flexibility for overtime including evenings and weekends.
Bonus qualifications: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen).
