Talkiatry, the largest dedicated psychiatry practice in the U.S., is seeking an Area Director to lead its Partnerships Activation team across the Midwest region. You will build and develop a high-performing team of Provider Partnerships Managers, grow relationships with health systems and medical practices, and drive commercial results that expand access to mental health care. In this role, you combine people leadership, commercial strategy, and executive relationship development. You'll lead team hiring, in-market coaching, and performance accountability while identifying new partnership opportunities and guiding regional growth strategy. You'll work cross-functionally with Partnerships, Operations, Marketing, Clinical, and Product teams to execute sustainable growth initiatives. You are a proven commercial leader with 7–10+ years leading field-based sales, business development, or partnership teams, ideally in healthcare. You excel at hiring and developing quota-carrying teams, building regional growth strategies, and delivering against ambitious commercial goals. You have strong executive presence, relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with sound judgment. You're data-driven, highly accountable, and motivated by the mission to expand access to high-quality psychiatric care. Talkiatry operates a technology-powered, in-network platform serving 750+ psychiatrists, 250+ therapists, and delivering over two million patient visits annually. The company was co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve healthcare's urgent mental health access challenge. You must reside in one of the seven Midwest states (Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, or Ohio).
