Echodyne is seeking an Architect for Manufacturing Test to lead the definition and implementation of end-to-end manufacturing test strategy and infrastructure for its solid-state radar products. The role focuses on ensuring product quality through comprehensive, scalable test architecture.
Key responsibilities include designing manufacturing test strategies for radar products with emphasis on quality, data integrity, and business scalability; defining hardware and software technical requirements for repeatable test processes; developing test processes and methods for new radar technologies; and providing design-for-testability recommendations. You will define software architecture focused on automation and data integrity, conduct test data analysis to monitor process performance, and support root cause analyses of product failures. The role also involves developing manufacturing test roadmaps aligned to Echodyne's product portfolio and business goals based on state-of-the-art test technologies, writing technical documentation to meet quality requirements, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Product Development, and other teams.
Required qualifications include proven experience designing and developing manufacturing test hardware and software solutions across different product integration levels; experience designing end-to-end manufacturing test strategies from component and board level to system-level functional testing; strong technical knowledge of RF signal testing techniques and methods; previous experience defining testability requirements on electronic products; strong leadership and communication skills; and ability to work onsite at Echodyne premises. A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a technical field is required, along with 10+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and test environments and proven technical leadership driving manufacturing test projects from design to deployment.
Desired qualifications include in-depth knowledge of RF circuits and radars, previous experience leading technical teams, general project management skills, Linux/Unix experience, and previous experience with radar manufacturing processes.
