The company simplifies cross-border business by removing friction from global payments, compliance, multi-currency management, workforce management, and business intelligence.
You will join the Cloud Modernization initiative as a core architect, leading the transformation of Payoneer's technology backbone into a modern, cloud-native platform. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of cloud architecture and enterprise modernization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading critical initiatives to migrate, modernize, and re-architect legacy platforms into scalable, secure, cloud-native systems
- Defining target architectures, establishing modernization patterns, and driving execution across engineering teams
- Designing and implementing cloud-native solutions, modern infrastructure platforms, and secure cloud environments for global-scale workloads
- Introducing AI-enabled capabilities to solve engineering and business problems, identifying high-value use cases, and enabling AI adoption across teams
- Building and shipping agentic systems with robust controls and governance
- Collaborating with architecture, platform, infrastructure, security, and product teams to migrate databases and applications, introduce modern DevOps practices, and raise cloud maturity
- Operating in a mission-driven model to accelerate modernization, unblock critical initiatives, and establish patterns for broad organizational adoption
You are a seasoned cloud and modernization architect with deep expertise across cloud platforms, infrastructure, databases, and DevOps. You have a strong point of view on practical AI adoption and can translate engineering pain points into AI-enabled solutions. You balance long-term architectural vision with pragmatic execution, understand safe and incremental modernization, and bring a sense of ownership and accountability to complex enterprise environments.
