Cognition AI, maker of Devin (the first AI software engineer), is hiring an Applied AI Transformation Manager to serve as a technically-oriented strategic advisor and operator for enterprise customers adopting agentic AI. This role embeds with select strategic accounts to design and deliver enterprise-wide AI transformation programs, from initial strategy through full-scale deployment.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior customer leadership, identifying and quantifying value targets for productivity gains and financial impact. Key responsibilities include: designing value realization targets and delivery models for agentic AI adoption; ensuring seamless program operations and delivery in partnership with Cognition's account team; maintaining visibility across playbook implementation, consumption metrics, and value metrics; overseeing onboarding and rollout to thousands of engineers; applying analytical and technical program management skills to support customer executives; and building centers of excellence within accounts with tailored enablement programs.
The ideal candidate has a computer science or electrical engineering undergraduate degree, prior software engineering internship or full-time experience, and 3–5 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm with demonstrated expertise in value targeting, realization, and technology strategy. Additional preferred qualifications include 2+ years in a customer-facing startup role, proven ability to source and manage account growth, prior experience as a software engineer or technical account manager, early-stage startup experience, and comfort thriving in ambiguous, fast-changing environments. You should move and learn exceptionally quickly, with a track record of success in complex enterprise settings.
