Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Strategist for EMEA to serve as the senior strategic voice with the region's most strategic customers. This role focuses on engaging C-suite executives and senior business leaders at Europe's and the Middle East's largest enterprises to understand their challenges, shape their vision for AI-driven transformation, and build alignment toward high-impact Claude adoption.
You will lead Executive Briefings (EBCs) for Anthropic's top-tier EMEA accounts, reframing how C-suite leaders think about AI while adapting narrative, tone, and proof points to each market and culture. You'll own strategic positioning for key customers, developing executive narratives, value cases, strategic proposals, and success plans in collaboration with Sales and Applied AI teams.
A core responsibility is creating executive-grade content that enables the broader team: industry points of view for core sectors (financial services, insurance, telco, manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, energy, public sector, retail, luxury), value frameworks, and templates for strategic proposals and success plans.
You will transform the European regulatory landscape—EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA, EU AML regulations, data residency and sovereignty—from a perceived blocker into a compelling case for Claude. Partner closely with Sales and Applied AI before and after engagements to align, debrief, and carry vision through execution, serving as a trusted advisor to high-momentum accounts.
This role requires 15+ years in enterprise technology or management consulting with significant executive-level experience in core EMEA markets. You should have a proven track record influencing C-suite leaders at large European enterprises, deep understanding of how regulated organizations evaluate and scale technology, and the ability to connect AI capabilities to strategic business outcomes. Experience producing executive-grade content, strong opinions on enterprise transformation, and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving market are essential. Travel will exceed 50% of your time across EMEA. Fluency in English plus another major European language is a strong plus.
