Mistral AI is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to drive the adoption and deployment of its full-stack AI solutions with enterprise customers. You will work across the entire customer lifecycle—from pre-sale through post-implementation—collaborating with researchers, AI engineers, and product teams to integrate cutting-edge AI models into clients' production systems.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications that seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end systems. You'll partner directly with customers to develop complex AI use cases, provide technical guidance, and ensure optimal production integration. Your work will span both customer-facing technical challenges and internal product improvements, as you collaborate with the product and science teams to refine capabilities based on real-world feedback.
You bring 2+ years of experience as a technical individual contributor working on cutting-edge technologies. You are fluent in both English and Korean, with strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript. You have hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, NextJS, VueJS) and back-end technologies (NodeJS), plus a solid grasp of software development fundamentals including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. You excel at communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ideal candidates have experience with LLM/GenAI models, open-source contributions, or prior roles as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Product Manager. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
