Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Engineer for its Enterprise team in Paris to guide large French enterprises in deploying Claude AI into their operations, products, and workflows. In this role, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor and go-to Claude platform specialist for major clients, working closely with enterprise account managers and applied AI architects throughout the entire customer journey—from initial conversations through technical evaluation, value validation, purchasing, and post-deployment support.
Your responsibilities span both technical and commercial dimensions. On the technical side, you will advise engineering teams on Claude architecture, agent design, and evaluation methodologies, ensuring they can confidently build on the platform. You will prepare clients and their system integration partners for successful delivery by defining target architectures and success criteria, then remain available as a technical advisor throughout implementation. On the commercial side, you will develop and present compelling business cases to C-suite executives and senior leaders, translating technical capabilities into measurable outcomes—cost savings, revenue impact, risk reduction, time-to-market.
Enterprise sales cycles are long and involve many stakeholders. You will need to maintain the technical thread across multi-quarter engagements, equally comfortable advising engineers on evaluation frameworks and presenting ROI to a CIO or CTO. You will guide clients toward the frontier of AI adoption, helping them understand how Claude can transform their operations and competitive position.
This role is based in Paris and requires fluent or native French, as much of the work involves direct engagement with French-speaking engineering teams and executive leadership. You will collaborate closely with Anthropic's Product and Engineering teams to inform evaluation guidance, recommend architectures meeting enterprise security and scale requirements, and create technical and commercial resources that enable large organizations to succeed with Claude.
