Overview.ai is a fast-growing US-based AI startup deploying GPU-powered computer vision systems to manufacturing. The company builds full-stack solutions—edge inference cameras, production-line deployment, and a platform managing global device fleets—to solve inspection problems previously unsolvable with traditional machine vision.
You will lead a team of applications engineers (vision, controls, mechanical) and technicians to deliver end-to-end deployments from contract signature through production stability and operator replacement. This role bridges execution and revenue: you own deployment outcomes at scale, team leadership, customer stakeholder management, operational infrastructure, and product feedback that shapes the roadmap.
Key responsibilities:
1. Deployment Outcomes: Own delivery across multiple factories and production lines—scheduling, staffing, readiness, execution, and stabilization. Drive deployments to completion with stable inspections, met acceptance criteria, and clear handoff to customer operations. Build repeatable playbooks that reduce time-to-production and increase customer self-sufficiency.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and grow a high-performance field team across regions. Set execution standards (daily/weekly cadence, escalation paths, documentation, quality bars). Coach your team to operate fast, calm, and effective under pressure when production is on the line.
3. Customer Leadership: Serve as on-the-ground leader with customer stakeholders (process, quality, automation, factory management). Manage scope ruthlessly but professionally to protect outcomes and prevent creep. Drive urgency by aligning customer resources, line access, sample parts, and decision-making.
4. Process & Systems: Create operational infrastructure for deployment scale—onboarding frameworks, training, checklists, commissioning templates, project dashboards, post-mortems, continuous improvement loops. Track deployment cycle time, blockers, time-to-stability, acceptance rate, and expansion readiness.
5. Product Feedback: Translate field pain into product improvements. Work closely with global engineering and product to push changes that remove recurring friction—better diagnostics, clearer workflows, installation standards, tooling, documentation, self-serve capabilities.
Success means deployments become predictable with faster ramp and fewer surprises; customers trust Overview.ai to scale across lines and factories; your team operates like an elite unit with strong execution and high morale; and the product improves because you turned field reality into roadmap wins.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management (factory floor to customer executives to global teams)
- High ownership, high discipline, high energy; you drive outcomes without waiting to be told
- Fluent Mandarin + strong English (written and spoken) for global coordination and customer executive communication
STRONGLY PREFERRED:
- Experience in high-tempo environments
- Familiarity with AI inspection, machine vision, or automation deployments
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, incomplete information, and shifting constraints without losing momentum
