Lumafield is a manufacturing technology company founded in 2019 to revolutionize how complex products are designed, manufactured, and inspected. The company has rebuilt industrial CT scanning from the ground up—from X-ray capture and computer vision analysis to web-based collaboration—making advanced manufacturing inspection accessible across industries. As an Applications Engineer, you will bridge the gap between Lumafield's cutting-edge hardware and software platform and the engineers and manufacturers who use it daily. You'll work with customers to understand their product inspection challenges, configure and deploy Lumafield's CT scanning systems, and develop custom workflows and analyses that solve real manufacturing problems. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with customers to understand their inspection requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Configuring Lumafield's platform for specific use cases and industries - Providing technical support and training to customers on system operation and best practices - Gathering customer feedback and working with product and engineering teams to inform platform improvements - Developing application notes, case studies, and technical documentation - Troubleshooting system performance and data quality issues - Potentially traveling to customer sites for installations, training, or complex problem-solving You should have a strong foundation in engineering or physics, familiarity with manufacturing processes or quality control, and excellent communication skills. Experience with imaging systems, computer vision, or industrial equipment is a plus.
