The Anti-fraud area is responsible for protecting products, customers, and operations against fraud while ensuring regulatory compliance. The team is currently in a phase of building and evolving the function, with opportunities to structure processes, strengthen controls, and expand the use of data, technology, and artificial intelligence in fraud prevention and investigation.
As Anti-fraud Coordinator, you will structure and evolve Stark Bank's anti-fraud operations, combining technical depth, regulatory vision, and process transformation capability. You will strengthen controls, increase analysis efficiency, and build an increasingly preventive, data-driven operation, particularly for Pix, card, and acquiring products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Structuring and evolving anti-fraud processes, policies, and internal controls ensuring regulatory adherence
- Analyzing fraud indicators and reports to identify patterns, vulnerabilities, and prevention opportunities
- Ensuring anti-fraud processes comply with Central Bank norms and requirements, monitoring regulatory changes
- Managing and evolving the internal fraud prevention policy
- Conducting analyses and handling fraud incidents, including interaction with ecosystem participants
- Working with Pix, DICT, and MED (Special Return Mechanism), managing occurrences and prevention/recovery processes
- Participating in inter-banking support groups and forums for incident response
- Collaborating with Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and other areas to implement improvements
- Identifying automation opportunities and leveraging AI and data to increase efficiency, scale, and preventive capability
The role is 100% in-office at Rua Pamplona, 145, Cerqueira César, São Paulo.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid experience in anti-fraud, preferably in financial institutions, banks, fintechs, acquirers, or payment companies
- Deep knowledge of fraud prevention, detection, and investigation in financial products
- Experience with Pix, cards, and/or acquiring
- Knowledge of Central Bank regulations related to fraud prevention and Pix security mechanisms, including Resolution BCB 142, DICT, and MED
- Knowledge of Special Return Mechanism (MED) methodologies and processes
- Ability to interpret fraud data and indicators and transform them into prevention and improvement actions
- Experience structuring or evolving anti-fraud policies, processes, and controls
- Analytical, critical profile oriented to problem-solving
- Strong communication and ability to work with different areas and market institutions
- Hands-on leadership, autonomy, and willingness to get involved
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Central Bank-regulated environments
- Background with Pix, cards, and acquiring in banks, fintechs, acquirers, or payment institutions
- Experience with automation, analytics, or AI application in fraud prevention processes
- Participation in inter-banking forums or initiatives related to fraud and payment methods
- Knowledge of fraud analysis and monitoring tools
