As an Annotation Specialist I, you will play a key role in advancing data annotation and AI model training for next-generation Generative AI features in market intelligence. You will work within a dynamic team of AI researchers and product managers, responsible for curating and structuring complex financial data, evaluating AI model outputs, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of GenAI features before they go live.
Key responsibilities include:
- Curating and structuring complex financial data to train, fine-tune, and benchmark market-leading AI models
- Partnering directly with AI Research Engineers to evaluate outputs, debug edge cases, and eliminate model hallucinations
- Acting as the final gatekeeper for accuracy before new GenAI features launch
- Providing strategic feedback to build faster, smarter evaluation tools and data pipelines
- Driving continuous improvements in internal tools and designing workflows that accelerate data delivery and raise accuracy baselines
- Staying informed on market trends in data annotation, financial data taxonomy, AI ethics, and emerging GenAI technology
- Testing the AlphaSense product and coordinating production releases
You will work closely with the team to ensure functionality and quality of your assigned module, thriving both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- MBA in Finance or related field, paired with an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/BMS/BBA)
- Deep understanding of financial statements, corporate filings, earnings reports, and capital markets data
- Zero defect mindset with exceptional attention to detail when analyzing complex data
- Ability to clearly explain technical and financial edge cases to research engineers
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with workspace tools (G Suite, MS Excel/Office)
