Precision Medicine Group seeks an Analyst, Business & Competitive Intelligence to drive sales growth through strategic market research, competitive analysis, and lead generation. This role bridges business development and market intelligence, supporting the identification and nurturing of new sales opportunities across Clinical Solutions, Labs, and Biospecimens sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the Business Development team to identify target companies and coordinate outreach, meetings, and RFP responses - Conduct competitive environment analysis and provide strategic recommendations on market positioning, pricing, and competitiveness - Develop and execute an annual outreach plan (reviewed monthly) targeting biotech and pharmaceutical companies, leveraging social media monitoring, competitive intelligence, conference research, and decision-maker identification - Research and analyze Precision's markets, competition, product mix, and vertical-specific opportunities - Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure appropriate sales collateral and support - Maintain CRM and sales enablement platforms with high data integrity; generate weekly/monthly activity reports - Provide regular feedback to leadership on company positioning relative to market conditions and competitive landscape The role requires strong analytical skills, market research capability, and the ability to synthesize competitive intelligence into actionable business insights. You will work independently and collaboratively, supporting both inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting activities. Requirements: Minimum Required: - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, science, business, or equivalent professional experience in marketing, communications, business development, or sales - Keen understanding of the CRO and Specialty Labs market and Precision's role within it - Minimum 6 months of experience in product/service sales lifecycle, including client identification and prospecting - Direct B2B sales experience in a service industry Other Required: - Willingness to undertake domestic and international travel, including overnight stays - Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension) - Drive and determination to meet and exceed targets and quotas - Adaptability, professionalism, and motivation; understanding of the sales cycle Preferred: - Experience in CRO/pharmaceutical or life sciences industry Competencies: - High self-motivation with ability to work independently and in team environments - Focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency - Exemplary verbal and written communication - Ability to conduct formal presentations to diverse audiences (scientific, sales, marketing teams)
