Anduril Industries is seeking an Algorithm Developer to join the Air & Missile Defense Radar team in Broomfield or Fort Collins, Colorado. You will design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for novel air and missile threats, including multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination techniques. The role involves developing high-performance, real-time software systems that process radar sensor data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets in milliseconds. Key responsibilities include building and leveraging modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements, collaborating directly with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems, and optimizing tracking software for performance-critical environments. You will communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers to drive informed decisions, and participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure successful deployment and operational effectiveness. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) plus 2 years of relevant experience. You must have strong programming skills in C++ and Python, a solid foundation in mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics, differential equations), and understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging. This is a production-focused role where you'll deploy mission-critical systems that government and industry customers depend on. Anduril's mission is to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, powered by Lattice OS—an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into real-time 3D command and control.
