Salary: USD 191,000 - 253,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Verification Lead to serve as the technical authority for hardware verification strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle of a Group 5 autonomous aircraft. This role spans design verification testing (DVT), environmental qualification, production acceptance, and ground & flight test phases.
The Systems Verification Lead will be accountable for demonstrating that all hardware meets system-level requirements and technical performance metrics (TPMs) before fielding. You will ensure that verification activities are planned, executed, and documented in accordance with the program Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP). This position requires cross-disciplinary collaboration with structures, avionics, propulsion, thermal, and electrical engineering teams, as well as direct interfacing with suppliers, test labs, integration teams, configuration management, manufacturing, and the customer.
Key responsibilities include driving verification maturity from development through manufacturing readiness, planning and leading multi-disciplinary test campaigns, developing acceptance test plans for production transition, and presenting verification status and TRR packages to program leadership and customers.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline; 7+ years in systems engineering, verification & validation, or test engineering in aerospace/defense; 3+ years leading multi-disciplinary test campaigns; experience with SEMP development/execution; proficiency with military environmental test standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-704); experience with requirements management tools (Jama, DOORS, Polarion); and U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, 10+ years in hardware V&V, INCOSE CSEP or ASEP certification, experience with ground/flight test campaigns for air vehicles or UAS, familiarity with DO-160, airworthiness qualification processes, MRL assessments, AS9100 quality systems, and prior experience on tactical UAS or fighter programs.
