Zone & Co is an ERP-native AI platform for financial operations, purpose-built for Oracle NetSuite. The company serves over 4,500 customers worldwide, automating financial workflows across Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Treasury, Payroll Management, and Record-to-Report processes.
As an AI Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI systems that power the platform's core features. You'll work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to build end-to-end AI/ML pipelines integrated into both backend and frontend applications.
Key responsibilities include: designing and prototyping AI systems for real-world business applications; building and deploying AI/ML pipelines; writing clean, maintainable code in Python, JavaScript, or statically typed languages; integrating AI/ML models into applications; analyzing large datasets for insights; evaluating and selecting AI frameworks and tools; monitoring and optimizing deployed models for performance and reliability; leading experimentation and prototyping efforts; participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers; communicating technical details to diverse audiences; maintaining commitment to data quality, privacy, and ethical AI practices; staying current with emerging AI research and methodologies; and contributing to infrastructure and cloud service decisions.
Required qualifications: 2+ years of software engineering experience focused on AI/ML applications; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred); hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, and frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or DSPy; proficiency in Python with familiarity in JavaScript or similar languages; strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases; experience deploying AI systems in production; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure); excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities; strong English communication skills; and commitment to ethical AI development and continuous learning.
