Zone & Co is an ERP-native AI platform for financial operations, purpose-built for Oracle NetSuite. The company serves over 4,500 customers worldwide, automating financial workflows across Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Treasury, Payroll Management, and Record-to-Report processes.
As an AI Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI systems that power the platform's core features. You'll work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to build end-to-end AI/ML pipelines integrated into backend and frontend applications.
Key responsibilities include: designing and prototyping AI systems for real-world business applications; building and deploying AI/ML pipelines; writing clean, maintainable Python, JavaScript, or statically-typed code; integrating models into applications; analyzing large datasets for insights; evaluating AI frameworks and tools; monitoring and optimizing deployed models for performance and reliability; leading experimentation and prototyping efforts; mentoring junior engineers; communicating technical outcomes to diverse audiences; maintaining commitment to data quality, privacy, and ethical AI; and staying current with emerging AI research and methodologies.
You bring 2+ years of software engineering experience focused on AI/ML applications, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred). You have hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, and frameworks like LangGraph, AutoGen, or DSPy. You're proficient in Python with familiarity in JavaScript or similar languages; knowledge of statically-typed languages is a plus. You understand relational (SQL) and non-relational databases, have deployed AI systems in production, and are familiar with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). You possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for innovation and ethical AI development.
