Tive is building a fully-transparent supply chain visibility platform that helps companies track shipments across road, rail, ocean, and air transport. The company reduces delays, theft, damage, and spoilage by providing real-time visibility into shipment status.
As an AI Software Engineer, you'll build and maintain the shared infrastructure that powers Tive's AI capabilities. This includes a central model gateway on AWS Bedrock, authentication and role-based access control, audit logging, evaluation harnesses, and the knowledge layer that grounds AI agents in accurate Tive data.
This is a platform engineering role focused on building production-grade systems. You'll work closely with the technical lead on architecture decisions and own the pieces you build. The goal is to prevent AI capabilities from being built as one-offs with duplicated infrastructure—instead, adding new AI features should become a matter of configuration and evaluation rather than building another system from scratch.
You'll need strong computer science fundamentals and pragmatism about production systems. The role values expertise in access control, cost visibility, correctness of AI outputs, and shipping working solutions—not just demos.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with hands-on web application development background. You should be comfortable with cloud infrastructure, API design, and the operational concerns of running AI systems at scale.
