As part of the SoftBank Group, the company combines AI research specialists, silicon designers, software engineers, and systems architects in a culture of continuous innovation. In this role, you will lead the post-silicon validation team for a large-scale AI system-on-chip (SoC) designed to power high-performance AI systems. You are responsible for enabling pre-production software to run reliably on new silicon quickly and efficiently, and for demonstrating that the silicon meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and functionality before production deployment. Key responsibilities include: - Define and lead the post-silicon validation strategy for AI SoCs, ensuring reliable and timely delivery of validated silicon, architectural correctness, feature robustness, and at-scale system reliability. - Drive cross-domain debug and issue resolution, leading investigation and resolution of complex issues spanning silicon, firmware, and platform levels. - Lead a team delivering post-silicon validation across the full AI SoC, collaborating effectively with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams. - Develop comprehensive validation test plans, methodologies, and automation frameworks. - Manage validation schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation. - Establish quality metrics and reporting mechanisms to track validation progress and silicon readiness. You will need deep technical understanding of SoC architecture, strong hands-on debug experience, and proven ability to lead technical teams through complex validation campaigns. Experience with AI accelerators, high-performance computing systems, or similar complex silicon validation is highly valued.
