This Senior AI Software Engineer role sits within Aidoc's AI Engineering group, focused on building and scaling infrastructure for advanced AI solutions in computer vision and NLP applied to medical imaging. The position combines hands-on software development with technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration to transform AI innovation into scalable, high-impact products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and lead software development of infrastructure for innovative AI algorithms in computer vision and NLP for medical imaging
- Collaborate with researchers and product managers to drive new AI product and feature development
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient code
- Take initiative in exploring and adopting new technological advances (scalable cloud systems, deep learning frameworks, large-scale ML systems)
- Work across the full range of software engineering capabilities in core AI systems
Required qualifications:
- BA/BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years developing large-scale production systems (architecture design, research, development, testing)
- Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (OOP, code optimization, complexity analysis)
- Strong Python experience and familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong ability to lead end-to-end development processes
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred: Experience developing AI/ML solutions with focus on computer vision and NLP.
