Qualtrics is seeking an AI Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of security frameworks protecting AI systems against emerging threats including adversarial manipulation, model theft, data poisoning, prompt injection, and supply-chain risks across the ML pipeline. In this role, you will serve as a strategic visionary and technical innovator, holding a holistic view of AI/ML threat models and proactively identifying and mitigating emerging risks. You'll guide security architecture strategy to align with organizational risk posture and business goals while exploring and implementing cutting-edge AI security practices such as adversarial robustness testing, model hardening, and secure MLOps. Key responsibilities include: - Leading research, evaluation, and implementation of next-generation security technologies and methodologies for AI solutions - Conducting comprehensive security reviews of AI products and proposed designs, including architectures built on Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic AI systems, identifying risks such as tool-use abuse, unauthorized action-taking, and insecure agent-to-agent or agent-to-tool communication - Authoring AI-related technical security standards, guardrails, and reference architectures that provide product and engineering teams with secure, repeatable blueprints - Developing a comprehensive AI security strategy aligned with organizational risk profile and business objectives - Overseeing execution of large-scale AI security initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery - Fostering a culture of excellence through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning; mentoring colleagues to build high-performing teams You'll build partnerships across security, engineering, and data science teams, promoting best practices in AI security.
