Candescent is transforming how financial institutions deliver intelligent banking experiences through digital banking, account opening, and branch solutions. The AI-PDLC Architect is a strategic role responsible for evolving the company's Product Development Lifecycle from traditional human-centric workflows to AI-augmented and AI-native ways of working.
This position partners across Product, Engineering, Agile Coaching, Enablement, and Transformation teams to identify, evaluate, standardize, and scale AI-enabled practices that improve product delivery, learning, quality, and operational effectiveness. The role does not own AI products or enterprise AI platforms but serves as the authority on how AI transforms product development work itself.
Key responsibilities include: discovering and documenting AI usage patterns across product strategy, discovery, design, engineering, testing, release, and continuous improvement; developing and maintaining an AI Practice Catalog, AI Tool Registry, and standards repository; defining and evolving AI-enabled PDLC practices; creating maturity models and adoption frameworks; establishing criteria for evaluating AI tools; and building mechanisms to capture lessons learned and emerging risks.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in Product Management, Product Operations, Agile Transformation, or Engineering Leadership; 5+ years driving Agile, Lean, or Digital Transformation initiatives across multiple teams; and 3+ years applying AI, Generative AI, or AI-enabled productivity practices within product development. Deep expertise across the end-to-end Product Development Lifecycle is essential, along with demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and driving change without direct authority. Strong facilitation, coaching, and organizational consulting skills are critical.
Required competencies include deep understanding of Agile methodologies, systems-thinking capabilities, applied knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs, expertise in workflow optimization and continuous improvement, and exceptional communication and presentation skills. A Master's degree or MBA, relevant Agile certifications (CSP, SPC, CEC), and experience in SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or regulated industries are preferred.
