Fuse Energy is a well-funded energy startup ($200M+ raised from top-tier investors including Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, and others) building an integrated energy company that combines solar, batteries, grid infrastructure, real-time power trading, and distributed energy solutions for homes. The company uses AI across the business and sells directly to consumers to reduce costs.
This is not a traditional operations role. You will sit at the intersection of AI, data, and real-world energy systems, responsible for deploying, scaling, and continuously improving AI-driven operations across the business. Your mission is to turn AI from a set of tools into a core operational backbone that drives efficiency, automation, and decision-making across trading, grid operations, and internal workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI across the business (trading, customer operations, product development, internal tooling)
- Redesign core operational processes to be AI-first
- Eliminate manual work across functions through intelligent automation
- Build internal AI tools that supercharge teams across product, finance, and operations
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies rapidly
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a top university in STEM
- Deep curiosity about AI and a track record of using it in real-world settings
- Relentless approach to solving problems
- Comfortable learning quickly and iterating
- Ability to work well individually or in a team
