Conduct is building an AI operating system to help enterprises move at the speed of their ideas by automating complex legacy systems and workflows. The company has just raised a $60M Series A and operates from London and NYC with a small, talent-dense team.
In this role, you'll be the driver of AI-powered productivity across Conduct itself. Your mandate is to identify the highest-leverage automation opportunities across GTM, finance, ops, and engineering—then build and deploy solutions that make every team dramatically more productive.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner directly with functional leads across GTM, product, finance, and ops to identify and prioritize high-impact automation opportunities
- Build and deploy AI agents, automations, and internal tooling using both code-first approaches and modern low-code platforms
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand technical architecture, contribute to developer productivity workflows, and build automations that make engineers faster
- Build and maintain internal knowledge systems that compound in value over time
- Own adoption end-to-end, working across the organization to ensure solutions drive real productivity gains
You'll sit at the intersection of technical depth and operational instinct. You understand how software gets built, you're comfortable working alongside engineers, and you bring commercial awareness to identify which problems are actually worth solving. You'll be as comfortable doing hands-on builds as presenting business cases to leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years in a technical operations, solutions engineering, internal tools, or technical product role, with close experience working alongside engineering teams
- Genuinely technical: comfortable with code-first approaches, able to prototype real workflows, and capable of understanding and contributing meaningfully to engineering productivity
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, n8n, Clay, Gumloop, or similar) with strong opinions on when to use each tool
- Sharp process thinker who spots inefficiency quickly, prioritizes ruthlessly, and designs solutions that get adopted
- High ownership, low-ego mindset; comfortable with both hands-on execution and strategic communication
