You will join as a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer, a hands-on individual contributor role embedded directly with business teams across Operations, Creative, Support, and beyond. Unlike traditional engineering roles, you will not work from a backlog. Instead, you will shadow real workflows, identify genuine pain points where AI can deliver value, and build end-to-end solutions yourself—from discovery and prototyping through production deployment and adoption.
Key responsibilities include:
- Embedding with cross-functional teams to understand actual workflows and uncover AI opportunities
- Designing and shipping AI systems: LLM applications, agents, RAG pipelines, chatbots, and automated workflows
- Owning the complete lifecycle with no handoffs: discovery, prototyping, production, and adoption
- Measuring impact by tracking time and effort saved, then iterating based on real usage
- Prioritizing your own roadmap autonomously—you decide what to build next
You will operate with high autonomy and judgment. Success requires identifying what matters, making decisions independently, and owning outcomes.
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of software engineering with hands-on production experience shipping AI systems (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks)
- Proven track record of owning projects end-to-end without a team: discovery, build, and rollout
- Strong engineering foundations: Python, APIs, microservices, databases, AWS
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to determine what to build given a business domain
- Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders; ability to translate messy manual processes into technical solutions
This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities.
