As an AI Engineer, you will tackle real-world AI and ML challenges across diverse domains including real-time computer vision, statistical machine learning, natural language processing, transformers, control and navigation, reinforcement learning, and large-scale distributed AI systems. You'll work on applications spanning autonomous vehicles, camera networks, robotics, drones, conversational agents, and real-time monitoring systems deployed in remote locations globally—from Australian mines to Canadian oil fields to Colombian plantations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Translating business requirements into AI/ML model specifications
- Preparing and curating datasets for training and evaluation
- Building state-of-the-art AI/ML/DL models, particularly transformer-based architectures
- Testing, benchmarking, and evaluating model quality
- Deploying containerized models to production in cloud and on-premise environments
- Establishing continuous learning pipelines with online or transfer learning
- Collaborating with customers and internal teams to refine model performance
- Working with containerized applications across diverse deployment environments
You should have 3+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Python, Java, and/or C/C++. Required expertise includes traditional statistical ML, deep learning, NLP, supervised/unsupervised/transfer learning, and containerization. A BS or MS in computer science, computational science/engineering, or related field is expected.
