Build is an AI company creating an agentic AI stack for institutional real estate, automating complex development and acquisitions workflows. The company partners with major alternative asset investors, developers, and governments to accelerate built-world projects—digital infrastructure, energy, industrial—from concept to completion.
You will work at the intersection of product, infrastructure, and user experience to develop the Build Assistant (Dougie) into a world-class product. This role combines geospatial data, AI orchestration, and user-facing design to serve institutional customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deploy an AI-native product that makes complex geospatial data and workflows usable through a coherent interface
- Build a non-deterministic, multi-agent orchestration layer that coordinates tools, data sources, and human input to deliver reliable outcomes in real-world scenarios
- Translate institutional real estate and infrastructure workflows into a clean ontology for agents and humans
- Own and ship full-stack features end-to-end: agent behavior, orchestration, UI, performance, and production reliability
- Build opinionated user interfaces where clarity, speed, and trust are prioritized
- Work directly with domain experts and customers to validate assumptions and ensure real leverage
- Solve problems at the intersection of AI systems and the physical world, where correctness and explainability matter
- Build scalable, robust, observable software with a focus on long-term maintainability
Build operates with intensity and speed, emphasizing performance and teamwork. The company values velocity, excellence, long-term thinking, ownership, customer passion, integrity, trust, and measurable results. You will have radical autonomy and real ownership over problems end-to-end, with minimal bureaucracy. The role offers an accelerated founder's track, elite teammates, and the opportunity to directly shape how the physical world gets built.
