Mistral is seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to drive adoption and deployment of its AI solutions within critical and sovereign institutions across the UK. This role bridges business strategy, AI innovation, and hands-on deployment, working with customers from strategic vision through production implementation. You will lead executive-level workshops to identify challenges where Mistral's AI can deliver transformative improvements in strategic, regulated environments. You'll co-create AI adoption roadmaps with customers, articulating the art of the possible while navigating regulatory and security constraints. Working closely with Account Executives, you'll develop business cases, quantify impact, and align solutions with organizational objectives. On the technical side, you'll architect end-to-end AI solutions integrating Mistral's models and platform into customer workflows, including cloud, on-premise, disconnected, and air-gapped deployments. You'll partner with the Applied AI team to design, prototype, and deploy production solutions, owning pilots and proofs-of-value that demonstrate technology potential and pave the way for full-scale deployment. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customer AI strategy and ensuring maximum value realization from Mistral investments. You'll monitor KPIs tied to operational and business outcomes, communicate progress to executive sponsors, and proactively identify expansion opportunities across use cases and organizational units. Cross-functionally, you'll act as the bridge between customers and Mistral's internal teams, synthesizing feedback to influence product, science, and security roadmaps. You'll develop reusable assets, best practices, and playbooks to scale go-to-market efforts in regulated settings. Travel of 30-60% is expected to foster deep client relationships and support on-site deployment. Required: 2+ years in client-facing strategic and technical roles (data science consulting, value engineering, technical sales); degree in relevant scientific field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering); foundational AI/ML/Data Science knowledge with credibility to advise technical and non-technical audiences; hands-on experience building and deploying AI applications (Python, JavaScript, or similar); strong business acumen and problem-solving skills; executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders; resilience and results-driven mindset; comfort operating under security, compliance, and confidentiality constraints. Nice to have: experience with sales qualification frameworks (MEDDPICC) and value-based selling; experience deploying AI in regulated or sovereign environments (defence, public sector, critical infrastructure). Security requirement: Must be a UK national, clearable for UK national security vetting (SC/DV level), with no relevant criminal record and ability to satisfy residency and background checks.
