Artera is hiring an AI Builder to design and deploy agentic systems that enhance patient experiences across healthcare workflows including scheduling, referral coordination, medication refills, billing, and payment estimation. You'll be a fully contributing engineer within a customer-facing squad, owning end-to-end initiatives from customer discovery through production operation. Your responsibilities include onboarding new customers onto systems you build, shipping enhancements that leverage emerging agentic capabilities, and maintaining long-term relationships with senior healthcare executives at named provider customers.
At this level, you'll operate with moderate supervision, independently owning customer outcomes. You'll combine product-manager curiosity, project-manager discipline, and engineering fluency in agentic systems. The role emphasizes developing deep subject-matter expertise in healthcare operations, mentoring newer builders on the team, experimenting with novel agentic techniques, and advocating for approaches that maximize customer success.
