OneStream is seeking an AI Architect to lead the responsible adoption and scaling of artificial intelligence across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Enablement, this role bridges business process redesign, enterprise architecture, solution design, governance, and adoption enablement to move AI initiatives beyond isolated experimentation toward measurable productivity, automation, decision-support, and process improvement outcomes. Key Responsibilities: AI Opportunity Discovery & Portfolio Shaping: Identify high-value AI opportunities across business functions that improve productivity, efficiency, decision quality, and customer/employee experience. Create and maintain a structured inventory of opportunities with business ownership, value hypotheses, users, dependencies, risks, and readiness status. Develop intake, scoring, and prioritization methods considering impact, effort, data readiness, governance complexity, adoption complexity, and ownership clarity. Partner with business and technology leaders to shape a sequenced AI roadmap aligned to strategic priorities. AI Solution Architecture & Design: Design end-to-end AI solution approaches spanning enterprise applications, data sources, integrations, workflows, user experiences, and measurable outcomes. Define reusable architecture patterns for AI agents, copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude), workflow automation, knowledge discovery, decision support, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop controls. Document architecture decisions, integration requirements, data dependencies, security considerations, ownership, support models, and implementation trade-offs. Partner with application owners, data teams, and platform teams to embed approved AI capabilities into existing systems. Business Process Transformation & Readiness: Evaluate processes for automation, augmentation, knowledge retrieval, decision support, and workflow optimization. Conduct practical AI readiness assessments across departments and business capabilities. Translate broad business challenges into clearly scoped transformation opportunities with defined outcomes, users, constraints, and adoption needs. Create transformation blueprints connecting process improvement, people impacts, application dependencies, data readiness, governance requirements, and value measurement. Responsible AI, Governance & Risk Alignment: Partner with Security, Legal, Compliance, Data, IT, and business owners to align AI initiatives with responsible AI and enterprise governance expectations. Embed review checkpoints for privacy, security, data usage, transparency, accountable human oversight, and compliance. Document risks, controls, data exposure, approval dependencies, and accountable ownership. Promote approved capabilities and consistent governance routing to reduce fragmented experimentation. Enablement, Adoption & Value Measurement: Create playbooks, templates, workshops, demonstrations, and best-practice guidance to accelerate responsible AI adoption. Help teams understand where AI is appropriate, where caution is required, and which stakeholders must be engaged before scaling. Establish value measurement frameworks and track adoption metrics. Requirements: The posting does not explicitly state years of experience, required certifications, or formal education requirements. However, the role expects demonstrated expertise in enterprise architecture, AI solution design, business process transformation, governance frameworks, and cross-functional stakeholder management. Candidates should have experience with AI/ML concepts, enterprise software integration, and change management in large organizations.
