Salary: USD 120,000 - 170,000 / annual
Liberate builds AI agents to automate manual tasks across the $2.7T insurance industry, starting with voice automation and expanding into full workflow automation for sales, servicing, and claims. As an AI Agent Engineer, you will bridge cutting-edge AI products with customer technical needs, ensuring successful deployment and integration. You'll work across customer success, sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver AI-driven solutions that drive measurable business value.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with sales to understand customer requirements and design tailored AI solutions; serving as the technical expert during post-sales processes with product demonstrations and technical presentations; assessing customer systems and workflows to identify integration points; developing customized configurations and prototypes; providing implementation guidance and troubleshooting; acting as a liaison between customers and product development; delivering post-sales support; and creating technical documentation including integration guides and best practices.
You'll need 3+ years in solutions engineering or technical consulting (preferably AI/tech), a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, strong programming skills (Python, Java, or similar), experience with APIs, data integration, and cloud platforms, and excellent communication abilities. Nice-to-haves include familiarity with AI/ML technologies, insurance tech or fintech experience, startup background, and cloud certifications (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
The role is hybrid (2 days/week in-office) based in Boston or San Francisco (Berkeley). This is an early-stage enterprise startup environment requiring extreme ownership, urgency, and customer obsession.
