WelbeHealth is seeking an AI Adoption & Enablement Lead to build and scale the organization's distributed AI program. This role combines hands-on AI agent development with mentorship, helping internal teams design, test, and improve AI solutions that enhance workflows and operations across the organization.
Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, building, testing, and maintaining high-impact AI agents that solve real business problems; supporting a network of internal "super users" through design consultations, 1:1 coaching, and build reviews; partnering with Strategic Initiatives leadership and adjacent teams (Tech, Compliance) to ensure agents are well-governed and aligned with organizational needs; surfacing patterns from builds and super user work to propose improvements to AI practices; and fostering cross-functional partnerships across all organizational levels.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of three years of relevant experience in operations, analytics, product, strategy, or related fields. Formal AI or technical background is not required, but significant experience building and deploying AI agents or past technology tools is essential. Key competencies include strong workflow analysis, iterative problem-solving with rapid experimentation, critical thinking when evaluating AI-generated outputs, ability to guide and mentor others in developing their own solutions, comfort navigating ambiguity in a developing program environment, and curiosity about healthcare operations (PACE experience helpful but not required).
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, or equivalent professional experience may be substituted. The role emphasizes coaching and enabling colleagues rather than solving problems directly, with a focus on scaling AI capabilities while ensuring solutions deliver meaningful operational value.
