You will own the complete sales cycle for maritime-focused opportunities, from prospecting and outreach through platform demonstrations to deal closure. Your responsibilities include actively converting qualified pipeline opportunities by engaging key decision-makers at mid-sized and enterprise organizations, building and maintaining strategic external relationships while collaborating internally with market analysts and product teams to optimize solutions for new clients. You will drive consistent revenue growth by hitting and exceeding annual quota targets while maintaining a healthy, predictable pipeline. You'll also manage accurate sales activity, pipeline hygiene, and revenue forecasts within the CRM, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Kpler's go-to-market strategies, sales processes, and messaging within the maritime and commodities domains.
This is an individual contributor sales role focused on new business development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with internal teams and be expected to maintain discipline around forecasting and pipeline management.
REQUIREMENTS (Must-haves):
- Proven sales track record with demonstrated experience driving new business, generating original prospects, and closing deals within SaaS, technology, data, or intelligence solutions
- Strong negotiation, closing, and communication skills with the ability to navigate complex client needs and organizational structures
- Highly self-disciplined, autonomous mindset with adaptability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Strong team-first attitude focused on long-term commercial goals and shared organizational success
Nice-to-haves:
- Direct sales or account management experience within Energy, Commodities, Maritime, or Financial Services sectors
- Proficiency with commercial tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or ZoomInfo
