Extend is a post-purchase experience platform that uses AI-driven solutions to help retailers enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth. The platform provides automated customer service, returns/exchange management, fulfillment automation, product protection, shipping protection, and fraud detection. Extend partners with over 1,000 merchants across fashion, cosmetics, furniture, jewelry, electronics, auto parts, and sports industries.
As an Account Manager for Enterprise Growth Strategy, you will drive growth and strategy for Extend's largest omnichannel merchants. This is a strategic role focused on existing account expansion, relationship management, and optimization of the company's most important partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead partnership growth optimizations for Extend's largest omnichannel merchants
- Develop and execute growth and merchant relationship management strategies for each strategic account
- Monitor program performance using data and insights to identify opportunities that deliver measurable ROI and sustainable growth
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with executive leadership at Fortune 500 retailers and brands
- Drive go-to-market strategies and adoption of new product features across your portfolio
- Manage promotional strategy and marketing development budgets
- Build multi-threaded relationships within merchant organizations from C-suite to individual contributors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Analytics, Marketing) to support merchant growth
- Author long-term business plans with strategic focus on optimization and growth
- Gather customer feedback and convey market needs to inform product roadmaps
The role is based remotely but prefers candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area. Estimated travel is 15-20% to client sites and other locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience in a dynamic startup environment and/or Big 4 management consulting
- Ability to break down complex problems and translate high-level goals into actionable plans
- In-depth understanding of value drivers in revenue share business models
- Strong executive presence with demonstrated ability to engage C-suite executives and senior stakeholders
- Excellent business acumen, presentation skills, decision-making abilities, and analytical skills
- Proven experience in project and program management with understanding of phases, plans, and scope
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with proven ability to collaborate across organizational levels
- Exceptional cross-functional management skills to work with product, strategy, and operational teams
- Experience with eCommerce, FinTech, and analytics tools (Tableau, Snowflake, Salesforce, Shopify) is a plus
