As an Account Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor and product consultant to enterprise customers, managing renewals, upsells, and customer success. Your responsibilities include:
- Act as a trusted advisor and product consultant, working with customers to deliver measurable ROI through efficient, value-based renewal and upsell cycles
- Partner with the Customer Success team to monitor health scorecards, identify customer needs, and guide deal closure
- Serve as a product evangelist, demonstrating how Zip solves current pain points while positioning future product capabilities
- Negotiate renewal contracts, developing win-win strategies that maximize contract value while strengthening customer relationships
- Manage multi-year contracts for current customers to ensure they realize full value from the platform
- Engage the broader Zip team to provide regular updates on renewal status and escalate issues as needed
- Become a product expert through deep learning of the Zip platform
- Develop procurement market expertise to understand the evolving landscape
- Use sales intelligence tools (Salesforce, Clari, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, Outreach) to manage deal cycles and prospect for new customers
- Help shape and improve the sales process as part of an early-stage, hyper-growth company

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of technology SaaS experience
- Experience selling to procurement, finance, and legal departments
- Proven track record driving customer retention and adoption of SaaS products for enterprise accounts
- Strong customer management skills spanning sales, account management, and customer service
- Self-driven with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Proficiency with sales tools including Salesforce, Clari, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach
- Willingness to go the extra mile for customers, company, and team success
