In this Account Manager role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts across global markets with 100% accountability for results. Your responsibilities include:
• Manage client accounts with strong day-to-day coverage and follow-up, ensuring positive relationships by understanding client needs and coordinating timely solutions
• Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional products and services in collaboration with Sales and Partnerships teams
• Monitor account performance, prepare updates, and identify opportunities to improve client experience and business outcomes
• Collaborate with internal teams to support successful delivery of dLocal's solutions and resolve operational or commercial matters
• Develop solid understanding of the payments industry and relevant emerging markets
• Support account plans, business reviews, and client retention/growth initiatives
• Drive client meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), industry events, and professional networking activities
You'll work in a dynamic fintech environment with flexible work arrangements, including the ability to work from anywhere for up to 3 months annually. The role combines self-managed focus time with in-person collaboration at company hubs.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, or related commercial role, preferably in technology, payments, or fintech
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with ability to work effectively across different stakeholders
• Commercial mindset with interest in identifying account growth opportunities
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple accounts, projects, and deadlines with attention to detail
• Analytical approach and willingness to use data for account performance analysis and decision-making
• Proactive, collaborative, and customer-oriented attitude with willingness to learn and take ownership
• Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally when needed
