Carwow is a leading European online car marketplace that combines technology, media, and automotive expertise. The company operates one of the largest car-buying, selling, and leasing platforms in Europe, with significant scale: £3bn in cars bought on-site annually, 1.2m print magazine copies sold, and a YouTube channel with nearly 10m subscribers. In 2024, Carwow acquired Autovia (AutoExpress and Evo magazines), doubling its audience.
You will join the Get Your Car (New Market) team as an Account Manager focused on car buying. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Develop deep expertise on assigned brands, understanding their challenges, opportunities, and performance metrics on the Carwow platform
- Maintain proactive communication with dealer partners through phone and video calls to build lasting relationships
- Deliver performance analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance dealer ROI on the platform
- Lead onboarding and training for new dealerships, ensuring smooth integration and high retention
- Own your portfolio's performance against clear targets, including upselling additional products and services
- Collaborate with the field-based Partner Success team to execute client strategies effectively
You will be expected to identify growth opportunities, manage multiple stakeholder expectations, and drive business results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on relationship building (internal and external)
- Proven ability to foster connections through proactive outreach via phone and in-person meetings
- Consultative problem-solving mindset; ability to understand client business needs and offer tailored solutions
- Demonstrated track record of identifying growth opportunities and upselling products/services
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with strong ownership mentality
- Ability to prioritize high-impact tasks and manage multiple stakeholder expectations
- Collaborative team player who works effectively with cross-functional colleagues
- Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for basic data handling and analysis
- Digital marketing familiarity is highly advantageous (automotive experience not required)
