Carwow is a leading European online car marketplace that combines technology, media, and automotive expertise. The company operates one of the largest car-buying, selling, and leasing platforms in Europe, processing nearly £3bn in car transactions annually. Carwow also owns AutoExpress and Evo magazines, reaching over 350 million people annually across web, print, and YouTube (10m subscribers).
You will join the Get Your Car (New Market) team as an Account Manager focused on car buying. Your primary responsibility is managing a portfolio of automotive dealer partners and driving their success on the Carwow platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop deep expertise in your assigned brands, understanding their challenges, opportunities, and performance metrics on Carwow
- Maintain proactive communication with dealer partners via phone, video calls, and in-person meetings to build lasting relationships
- Analyze dealer performance data and recommend process improvements to maximize their return on investment
- Lead onboarding and training for new dealerships, ensuring smooth integration and high retention
- Own portfolio performance targets, including upselling additional products and services
- Collaborate with the field-based Partner Success team to execute client strategies effectively
You will work in a hybrid arrangement from the London office, with flexibility to work abroad for up to one month per year. REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships
- Strong phone and in-person meeting skills; proactive outreach capability
- Consultative problem-solving approach; ability to understand client business needs and offer tailored solutions
- Proven ability to identify growth opportunities and upsell products/services
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently without micromanagement
- Strong prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations
- Collaborative team player, particularly with field-based teams
- Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis
- Familiarity with digital marketing is highly advantageous (automotive experience not required)
