Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products to major enterprises like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The Account Management team is critical to the company's growth and expansion worldwide.
You will join the Belgium Account Management team to manage relationships with innovative Belgian and international merchants across multiple industries and channels. This is a client-facing role in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you'll own customer relationships and drive commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Onboard and grow customers with focus on commercial growth, customer satisfaction, and churn reduction.
- Commercial Acumen: Drive commercial discussions for joint accounts while meeting strategic and financial targets.
- Project Management: Prioritize and manage short and long-term projects across multiple accounts with varying timelines, leveraging internal support teams.
- Technical Affinity: Apply analytical and data-driven thinking to spreadsheet analysis and technical discussions about payments nuances.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other Account Managers on accounts across diverse industries.
- Team Building: Contribute to Adyen's growth by optimizing processes and scaling the portfolio.
You will work with a talented group of Account Managers in Belgium and internationally, focusing on efficiency, proactivity, and customer relationship development. The role includes exposure to the global payments landscape and professional development through Adyen's AM Academy.
Requirements:
- Work experience in a client-facing, commercial role such as account management, consulting, or payments industry (merchant side). Bonus experience in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services.
- Full professional written and verbal proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
- Based in Brussels office with hybrid workplace model; in-person collaboration is valued.
- Some domestic and international travel required.
