Salary: USD 26.3 - 39.98 / hourly

DocuSign is seeking an Account Executive for Small to Medium Business (SMB) to drive new customer acquisition and expand existing customer relationships within the SMB and mid-market segments. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President, SMB. You will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities, managing a sales pipeline through prospecting in your assigned territory, and delivering customized sales presentations and product demonstrations via phone and online. You'll craft and negotiate enterprise-level proposals and contracts, forecast sales activity accurately using sales tools, and collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, and other internal teams to drive customer adoption and usage. Key responsibilities include achieving individual sales quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis, proactive deal management, forecast accuracy, and working with the broader DocuSign partner ecosystem. Travel is expected, typically around 10% of the time. DocuSign brings agreements to life, serving over 1.5 million customers across 180+ countries. The company's Intelligent Agreement Management platform helps organizations create, commit, and manage agreements while unlocking business-critical data trapped inside documents. The role is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in-office (frequency may vary by team but with a weekly in-office expectation). Positions are available in San Francisco, CA; Chicago, IL; and Seattle, WA. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience - 1+ years of direct sales experience in a quota-carrying role (preferred) - Experience managing and closing software sales cycles - Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas in past positions - Proficient with computer applications, including Salesforce.com and Google Suite - IT industry and software sales background (preferred) - Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without visa sponsorship
